For Sale: 1950 Chevrolet 3100 in Lavergne, Tennessee

Vehicle Description

This 1950 Chevrolet 3100 5 Window pickup has a cool/custom style that will be irresistible to those who love a unique classic. With a well-integrated two-tone, bucket seat interior, and a stout small block V8 under the hood, it makes for a thoughtfully distinct Chevy.

This is an awesomely assembled package. The maroon has an unmistakable extra luster that loves to show off the truck's body with plenty of flair. The black in this two-tone is just as important. It gives a sleeker style where the bumpers, grille, trim, and mirrors are painted. Even the custom-made bed cover adds to the dark style. The blue dot tail lights, cat-eye headlight covers, and 15-inch wheels all come together to give you a detail-oriented classic. And subtle ghost flames are always something people love to spot. It's a true custom build, but it never betrays the true classic style. That's why you still have a real wood truck bed. We like that touch of weathered look to the lumber that gives this pickup a hint of patina without having to jeopardize that attention-grabbing two-tone.

The desirable five-window cab means you also let in more light to this custom interior. The bench is gone and replaced with dual cloth bucket seats. They are nicely bolstered for all-day comfort. This has some more nice cruiser features, like a center armrest, plush carpeting, and an AM/FM/cassette stereo. Of course, what you'll really like is how this was built to be a driver's machine. You get a later model GM steering wheel on a tilt column, Hurst Pro Matic shifter, and a crisp/clean set of AutoMeter gauges.

Under the hood is a later model 350 cubic-inch motor. It has a nice look with the clean/dark inner walls that let polished pieces like the air grabber and alternator really stand out. The V8 has been upgraded with an Edelbrock AVS four-barrel carburetor, an Edelbrock aluminum intake, and an HEI ignition. It runs strong and makes a subtly sweet tune out of the dual exhaust. This truck was built to be an all-around fine cruiser, and that's why you have a three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, and front discs.

There's a lot to love on an iconic five-window Chevy 3100 that has a ton of upgrades - including that two-tone. This is an awesome custom that you know you need to take home. Call today!!!
