Vehicle Description
This 1968 Chevrolet C10 is a custom restomod pickup with a comfy
leather interior, cold-blowing A/C interior, an overdrive
transmission, a super-slick two-tone paint job, and big block V8
power. Best of all you can show it off with the ideal stance for
all occasions with the fully adjustable air ride suspension.
The two-tone yellow and white paint are visually stunning. It's
smooth, straight, and glossy to show off the excellent sheet metal.
It's thoughtfully laid out with the yellow sandwiched between the
classic-style white roof, and the C10's trim line dividing the
lower half. And speaking of trim, it's straight and clean to go
with the full brightwork package. There's a mirror-like shine on
classic pieces, like the bumpers and side mirrors. It's also paired
with a quality polish on upgrades like the wide side exhaust tips
and the 20-inch Intro alloys. And those wheels tuck in nicely when
you take the air ride suspension nice and low. LED headlights, LED
tail lights, and a color-match hard tonneau are all part of the
attractive custom package. And beneath the cover is an
exceptional-looking carpeted bed that looks perfect for displaying
plenty of awards.
The full custom interior feels both sporty and comfortable. It
starts with a pair of leather bucket seats borrowed from a later
model, and yours even power adjusts to the ideal position.
In-between is an armrest center console with your air ride
controls. The tan here coordinates with the doors panels,
carpeting, and headliner. And with the exterior yellow returning on
the metal parts of the doors, dash, and roof, the whole truck has a
premium level of coordination. There are awesome details, like how
the carpet in the bed matches the cab, and the custom design on the
back of the bed is repeated on the door panels. It really loves to
show off how this is a thoughtful custom build. You have all the
right features for a comfortable cruiser, including power windows,
an AM/FM/CD stereo, cup holders, fold-down armrests, and R134a air
conditioning. You slip behind the leather-wrapped steering wheel
that's on a tilt column. And the full gauge package has a crisp
style and a modern glow to let you know this one was built for
driving.
The engine bay is both clean and mean. The big block's black
components really give a nice contrast against the yellow firewall.
It's built with a four-barrel carburetor, an Edelbrock Performer
intake, and headers feeding the dual exhaust. You'll also spot good
supporting components, like an aluminum radiator, an electric fan,
and an Optima red top battery. The transmission is a 700R4
four-speed automatic transmission that offers a nice balance of
stout construction and overdrive comfort. Plus, these Chevys are
sought after for their smooth-riding trailing arm rear suspension.
Combine this with power steering, power brakes, and front discs,
and this custom truck is also a comfortable Sunday driver - that's
why this one joined the power tour in 2019.
This is a truck that's meant to be comfortable to drive anywhere
