This is a beautiful professionally built 1962 Corvette Restomod!!!
This is a, no expense spared, 1962 Corvette that was totally built
from the ground up to show the beauty of the last year for the C1
Corvettes with the dependability, comfort and refined driving
experience of a modern Corvette! It was done by Greg Thurman of GTS
Customs in Simi Valley, California. It features a 450 HP LS-6 motor
mated to a Tremec 6-speed manual transmission, Newman Car Creations
chassis with powder coated 1996 Corvette suspension, Dana 44 3:73
rear end, 3' aluminum polished driveshaft, carbon fiber
driveshafts, rack & pinion steering and Budnik Teardrop 18' alloy
wheels with a set of brand new Continental Sport Contact tires. It
is painted in a gorgeous Teal Green with Creme leather interior and
a Hartz cloth soft top. It also has power windows, air
conditioning, Custom Classic instruments and a Sony Xplod 1GB
stereo system! It has been a part of our museum for several years
and Ray had it at his Florida home for a while because he loved
driving it so much. It is a wonderful and well sorted car to drive
and you really forget that it is a 1962 Corvette!! If you are
looking for a C1 Corvette but want the modern driving experience
then this is your car!!!
