Vehicle Description
The 1990 Chevrolet Silverado 454 was built in the grand tradition
of muscle cars where a big engine was mated to a lightweight setup.
But while the factory just scratched the surface of what was
possible, this one has been upgraded to be truly as mean as it
looks. It has a more modern fuel-injected LS 454 motor, and they
even added a supercharger on top! Plus, a six-speed auto
transmission, four-wheel disc brakes, a loaded A/C interior, and
more show that this is a thoughtful total build.
Slick black is the best way to have such an aggressive pickup, and
the factory-correct color continues to have a nice shine. This one
retains all the right factory pieces like well-preserved lower
valence, menacing blacked-out grille, and bold red bow tie emblems
placed throughout pickup. Plus, it has the right subtle upgrades
like clear headlights, upgraded tail lights, and an aerodynamic
tonneau over the bed. The full bed liner and trailer hitch make
sure this pickup remains handy. But the upgraded Mickey Thompson
17-inch polished alloys and large dual exhaust tips are there to
really tell its powerful story.
It isn't a true first-year SS truck without the Garnet Red interior
and the premium cloth bucket seats. It all looks good on a
well-respected truck, and so you can see the long list of factory
features. It's loaded with factory air conditioning, power windows,
power locks, power steering, a tilt steering column, a sliding rear
window, and a cup holder center console. There are also nice
upgrades like cruise control and an AM/FM/CD stereo with USB and
Bluetooth. And the bright glow of the new full gauge package
reminds you that there's something special under the hood.
This may be an actual mileage pickup, but there have been a ton of
fresh investments all over this Silverado. And you especially
recognize that under the hood. These were famous for the 454 big
block motors to usher in a new era of muscle trucks. This one keeps
that spirit with the same displacement, but it turns to modern
upgrades to really offer some street-eating power. It's an LSX 454
fuel-injected crate V8. These offered nearly triple the horsepower
of the original 454 SS pickups right out of the box...but that
wasn't enough for this special build. So they added a Whipple
supercharger on top! It's a clean build where you can spot all the
right supporting pieces - from the cold air intake to the large
aluminum radiator with twin electric fans. And since this one is
going for a modern and powerful feeling, you have four-wheel power
disc brakes and a stout 6L80 six-speed automatic transmission rpm
level 5.
This is a truly amazing truck that provides you with a wolf in
wolf's clothing. This supercharged LSX high-horsepower value can be
yours if you act quick enough to catch it. Call today!!!
