This absolutely stunning 1964 Oldsmobile F-85 Cutlass 4-speed
Convertible has been restored to a high level of beauty and
functionality, and it's available now from the MAXmotive Pittsburgh
Showroom. The color is Viper Red, one of the most vibrant reds
available, and it really works with the newly designed-for-'64
F-85. This example has a black bucket seat interior and a black
convertible power-operated top for a classic look, yet it's still
stylish today. 1964 is also the first year for the body-on-frame
configuration F-85 with a perimeter frame. The Oldsmobile History
Center in Lansing, Michigan furnished the previous owner with
comprehensive information pertaining to the car that's not only
historical in nature, but practical and helpful such as the 1964
Convertible Top Operation guide. The 1964 Oldsmobile Owner
Operating Manual is also here along with the Owner Protection Plan
booklet. A 330ci 4-barrel V8 provides muscular performance while
delivering the appropriately throaty tones through its dual exhaust
system. A Muncie 4-speed manual transmission adds to the sporty
flavor of the car, while it sports the appropriately Olds luxury
feel via power steering, power brakes, and even power windows. On
the console is the factory tach, which not only counts revs, but
adds a little extra panache as well. This fine example presents in
classic muscle car fashion with the trademark Olds Super Stock
Rallye wheels, but the original wire wheel covers are included.
