RARE '81 Isuzu pup 4x4 diesel 4spd. I bought it out west & had it shipped here (2016). solid frame. no rust. I completely rebuilt the engine & all components in 2016. new everything. 2.2 Isuzu diesel (completely rebuilt in '16) Sent the injection pump to be built by Diesel Injection Systems in Santa Maria CA. Completely new everything with updated CSD. Sent injectors to Jerry Lemond in Dacula GA (Lots of other new parts & upgrades from him & joeisuzu from isuzupup.com) With some effort, got new pistons & rods from Australia. New water pump. New alternator & vacuum pump, etc. Light weight flywheel. Not a show truck or full restore, but an extremely solid reliable driver quality truck. Phenomenal fuel mileage. Manual locking hubs, manual 4spd trans, mechanically injected diesel.
