Vehicle Description
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1930 Lincoln L series.
1930 was the last year for the Model L. This was the first
automobile produce by the Lincoln Motor company and was introduced
in 1920. The current owner purchased the car with the intentions of
several longer road trips. In order to make it faster and slightly
more reliable he pulled the original drive train out of the car,
which was running at the time, and put in a 300 inline 6 out of a
1985 Ford with an automatic transmission. The original drivetrain
is available with the sale; HOWEVER IT WILL BE THE BUYERS
RESPONSIBILITY TO FACILITATE SHIPPING FOR THE ORIGINAL DRIVE TRAIN!
The L series also has a rear end out of a Chevy S10. The owner
drove the car along the Lincoln Highway once he got it dialed in
and went from New York to California and back.
The car started its life in California where it was used on various
movie sets and then spent some time in Rhode Island and Finally the
current owner purchased It in 2016. Highlights include dual fender
mounted spares, dual cowl lights, rear view camera for backing up,
rear luggage trunk, 20 inch wire wheels, visor, greyhound hood
ornament, very spacious interior. The exterior is laser straight
and is very solid. This is an excellent and unique vehicle that is
a must consider!
