This 1993 Ford F-250 XLT Extended Cab pickup is an extremely nice
truck that spent its life in California before coming to Michigan a
couple of years ago. This truck was never driven in the Michigan
winter and it still has that great original stock look. A beautiful
rust free truck that can be used as an everyday driver or
occasional driver. The body on this truck is really clean and
straight. The factory colors of Vermilion Red and Oxford White
really make this truck stand out and it has a great look. All of
the chrome, trim, and moldings appear to be the originals and are
still in excellent condition. The underside is extremely clean and
it was professionally Ziebarted when it came to Michigan. They also
added a Line-X Bedliner at that time. There is no rust and no
hidden rust on this truck.
The interior is also in beautiful shape and all original with
exception of some nice addons like CD Player with Bluetooth,
back-up camera, remote start, and keyless entry. The dash, seats,
carpet, headliner, and door panels are all original and still in
wonderful condition. The headlights, taillights, brakelights, and
blinkers are all working. The gauges, ac, heat, wipers, horn,
cruise, power windows, and power locks are all working. This is a
really nice, clean, original interior.
Mechanically this truck is top notch. The engine is the original
460 V8 (7.5L) that starts easy and runs strong and smooth. This
truck has always been well maintained and recently had a new
waterpump and radiator installed. The transmission is the E40D
Automatic that shifts nice and it was replaced with a new one
around 20,000 miles ago (have receipt for around $4,000). It is
mated to the Borg Warner Manual transfer case and the 4WD works
like it should. The rear axle is a Ford 10.25 with 4.10 gears and
it is a limited slip. The front axle is a Dana 44 TTB with 4.10
gears. This is all sitting on a set of stock Ford Wheels and some
newer AT tires size 285/75/16.
