400CI/350HP engine which was rebuilt to original specifications.
Engine is situated in an absolutely pristine engine compartment and
had come equipped with the 4 Barrel carbs but was converted to a
1966 tri-power set up by the current owner. Turbo Hydramatic
transmission was completely rebuilt as well. The car has gone
through a meticulous frame on restoration completed in 2020 and is
in overall excellent condtion. Car was stripped to bare metal from
its original Meridian Turquoise color and was changed to a
beautiful two stage Regimental Red that compliments the black
vinyly interior very nicely. The interior had been completed
removed and everything was restored and replaced and looks like new
including full dash, new headliner, new door and quarter panels and
carpet. Nice gauge set up including clock and the classic hood
mounted tachometer that all work as they should. Console with
automatic shift and aftermarket AM FM stereo with bluetooth that
looks original. Other features include the retractable headlamp
covers, power disc brakes and Wonder touch power steering. All body
panels on the car line up beautifully, the paint is flawless and
all the badging and stainless trim is intact and new or restored to
like new condition. The spotless trunk compartment includes a full
spare and jack as well a factory correct trunk mat. Undercarriage
of the car is as clean as the top side as it was also completely
stripped, repainted and totally detailed. The front and rear
suspension were both completely rebuilt and includs all new ball
joints, tie rods, upper and lower bushings, idler arm and steering
link. Brakes have also been renewed with new power brake booster.
new dual master cylinder, front calipers and pads, new wheel
cylinders, shoes and associated hardware. New stainless steel
H-type dual exhaust and Hotchkis stabilizer bars front and back.
Electrical system was also redone and includes new alternator,
regulator, high torque starter, battery and all lights and lenses.
Car rides on BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires mounted on stock rally
wheels. Car comes with extensive paperwork including copies of the
build sheet, original invoice, documentation from PHS automotive
services as well as a folder of receipts for all work done during
the restoration. $9,000 worth of parts will accompany the sale. If
