Vehicle Description
Welcome to StreetDreamsTexas as we embark on our 23rd year in the
classic and muscle car business. Tri-Five Chevrolets (1955-1957)
are some of the most recognizable, popular, and beloved automobiles
to ever turn a wheel on an American turnpike. When compared to
today's amorphous styling, it's no wonder that these cars continue
to attract attention and admiration from multiple generations of
enthusiasts. This beautiful 1957 Bel Air 2-Door Hardtop (SN 1037D)
clearly demonstrates the appeal of these iconic machines. Still
powered by its smooth and correct 283 V8 (EC F717FC), this gem
cruises down the road effortlessly. Additional features include the
correct Medium and Dark Blue trim (672), upgraded TH350 automatic
transmission, upgraded Kenwood stereo, and even the charming tissue
dispenser. One of my local personal friends has had this classic
for many years, but he is experiencing some health issues and has
reluctantly decided to sell it and let someone else enjoy his baby.
Although it has an older restoration, it is uncommonly solid, as
can be seen in the images of the frame, pans, and chassis. The body
is straight with excellent panel gaps and nary a squeak or rattle.
Originally it was two-tone Harbor Blue with a Larkspur Blue top,
but he had the top painted so it would be just like the one he had
when he was a kid. The tires are 20 years old and we will order a
new set. It's hard to describe how well she drives, but this car is
just put together very well. From the team that makes dreams a
reality. Street Dreams (830-997-1950) is a full service dealership
