Exterior
The exterior of the vehicle is amazing, this car looks fast sitting still. The Vista blue clear coat metallic paint on the car is showroom new and is set off by the Shelby appearance package silver racing stripe kit. The vehicle is equipped with the optional 18” premium aluminum wheels, they are in perfect shape, the tires are original to the car, they look perfect, this vehicle has been stored in a climate controlled garage since new and has never seen the rain. The Shelby appearance package sets the car off with hood scoop, billet hood pin kit, and the billet front grill assembly with Mustang pony badge. The package also includes the “Powered by Ford” fender badges. Also included in the appearance package are a front fascia, a rear fascia, and side scoops. This vehicle looks awesome with the power operated black cloth convertible roof up or down, the top is in excellent shape and has a glass rear window. This is one amazing time capsule of a vehicle that will provide years of deprecation free driving if kept in the condition it is in. Interior
The interior is like the rest of the car, like new. The black leather bucket seats are set off with the blue Shelby stitching in the headrests. The car has the always popular “Carrol Shelby” signature on the passenger side visor mirror. The Hurst short throw shifter, also part of the Shelby package, is the center piece of the interior and lets you know this isn’t your average mustang. The interior has a number of Shelby inspired upgrades that are part of the Shelby package including the awesome looking appearance bar, the aluminum door sill plates with CSM serial numbering, the aluminum dash plaque with CSM serial numbering, and the custom Shelby floor mat badges. The driver seat is 6 way power operated. The vehicle is equipped with the awesome Shaker 500 audio system with CD player that sounds amazing. All interior components are in outstanding condition as can be seen in the photos. The vehicle has a full compliment of bright gauges, all of which are in good working order. Overall the interior of the vehicle is in like new.
Mechanical
Mechanically the vehicle is just plain awesome with the 4.6L 3V OHC V8 engine that has been Shelby upgraded to include a cold air intake, performance mufflers, and a Pro-Cal performance calibration. The vehicle sounds amazing and drives like a brand new car, a brand new muscle car!! As part of the Shelby upgrade the suspension has front and rear dampers, front and rear sway bars, towering springs, and a strut tower brace. The 5 speed transmission shifts flawlessly, this car is a blast to drive. The engine is outfitted with a number of Shelby upgrades including the aluminum engine plaque with CSM serial number. The engine compartment is as clean as it was new. This vehicle is truly amazing and puts a smile on your face every time you drive it.
