Vehicle Description
This 1980 Chevrolet Corvette has the appeal of a great color combo,
T-tops, and its numbers-matching motor. But the real appeal here is
that you get this loaded and vintage package for such a value
price.
White has timeless appeal, and this one gives off a nice gloss in
the sunshine. It also has the right fundamentals in place with
crisp body panels, good gaps, pliable weather-stripping, and clean
glass. Plus, there's just something sporty about the later C3
Corvettes with the fastback profile, dual exhaust tips, and
integrated rear spoiler. And the rally wheels connect it to the
style of its predecessors.
The sporty and sophisticated style really gets turned up a notch
with the red interior. It looks so good against the exterior white
that we just know you'll love taking the T-tops out to show off the
full package. There has been a solid investment inside where the
carpet, door panels, and dash pad all have a new-like appearance.
And the later C3 bucket seats have terrific bolstering for true
comfort. This one is also appealing for its loaded level of
features. It includes power windows, a tilt/telescopic steering
column, full gauges, and an upgraded AM/FM/cassette stereo.
Under the hood is the numbers-matching 350 cubic-inch V8. The
odometer is believed to reflect the full actual mileage of this
car, and so it has averaged only about 2,200 miles annually. So
that's why the setup still looks quite clean. The V8 inhales deeply
with a four-barrel carburetor, and the upgraded full dual exhaust
gives you a nice tune. The fully-independent suspension and
four-wheel power disc brakes make this a fine sports car. The
three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and cruise
control make this classic a good anytime machine.
The way to view the full package on this Corvette is that it's a
nice car from day one. You may decide to upgrade the paint, invest
in the lighting, fine-tune the motor, or get the A/C to blow cold
again. But those are the things you can do on your own schedule...
because the only thing that's stopping you from having a
wind-in-your-hair Corvette experience tomorrow is that you have not
yet called about this car today!
