Vehicle Description
One of 240 L-69 Tri-power convertibles!This beauty is nearly a
museum piece! Just an absolute stunning 442 Tri-power convertible
with a 4-speed trans, finished in Target Red with White
interior! This car was an 8 year restoration with body work
performed by Amos Walker of Walkers Body Shop, Hazard, KY and
assembled by Hugh Mitchell. The vehicle started out as rust free
and the attention to detail is evident in the final product. Only a
few hundred miles have been put on since the restoration, so the
condition is just about the same as when finished. The engine is the
completely rebuilt 400 cubic inch engine with factory optioned
Tri-power, rebuilt to factory specs. The cold start up goes right
to high idle, with medium and low idle movement just like factory
new.All important casting and stamping numbers match to a correct

through all gears like new and the clutch feel is right where you
would expect for a full restoration. The paint finish is high
quality and the depth and shine is impressive from all angles. The
chrome shines nicely and the pot metal has high shine and no
pitting except for the side mirror which does have minor fading. The
interior is in fantastic condition and like the exterior, appears
factory new. The Rallye gauges work as new, and there is no
noticeable wear or fading of the dash, column, gauges, knobs,
etc.The convertible top is in excellent condition and the plastic
rear window is free from yellowing or cracks. The underneath is in
very good to excellent condition with no damage, repairs or rust
through noted.Finding flaws on this car is a challenge - it is that
