The MGTD was the first MG target for the US market. The TD was the
first model to offer left hand drive, other features include a
stronger completely designed chassis, wider body, rack and pinion
steering, and more stylish fenders. The TD indeed found a market
inside the boarders of the U.S. and to this day are beloved by
many. The MG TD delivers a pure 1950s open air British driving
experience. Its mechanicals are robust and mostly easy to source,
which makes ownership relatively straightforward. To this day, the
TD is regarded highly among British motoring enthusiasts.
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this well sorted 1952 MGTD
for your consideration. The current owner has had it in his care
for the last 10 years. The car was just recently at the Rusty Moose
Garage in Grand Haven Michigan. The MG was given a brand-new top,
complete chassis lubrication, new fuel pressure regulator. The
carpet is in excellent condition and so are the black leather
seats. The exterior is finished in red; it is starting to show its
age but still very solid and presentable. The 1.3L fires right up
and runs well. The TD has a rear mounted spare tire with a cover
and comes with its owners manual as well.
The MGTD remains a sweetheart of the collector car world. The car
here is ready for immediate enjoyment and leaves room to nurture
your investment.
