1982 Dodge W150 standard cab short wide bed 4x4. 71K original miles, Gray with red interior, has a blue seat for some unknown reason, 225 slant 6, NP435 4 speed. 208 transfer case, front hub lock outs. Recent 255-/70-15 Cooper tires on factory 15x7 steel wheels. Power steering, power disc brakes, working dealer add on air conditioning. Every light and gauge works, and the clutch is in great shape. Was a 'lean burn' but now completely de-smogged and runs great with conventional factory style electronic ignition. 4 wheel drive system performs just like it should. Paint and body is all original and has not been painted or messed with. Just starting to show a bit of rust above the rear wheels and a small spot in the bed floor, but the rest is very solid. Correct spare mounted under the bed and has the factory jack and tire tools mounted where they are supposed to be.
This is a very 'basic' truck. Manual windows, rubber floor mats, 2 speed wipers and a /6 4 speed. This truck operates and performs better than it did new, but it wont do more than it was designed to. If you keep in mind that its a slant 6 and dont expect more out of it, it will give countless years of service. In low 4 and first gear, you can walk faster than it will go at idle.
Would make a good truck to have around the farm and still be able to drive it to town and errands without worrying about the lights or heater working. Could be an intro level 4x4 for the new driver in the family that wont get a bunch of tickets.
