1955 Chevrolet Gasser
Car History
The 1955 Chevrolet is considered a huge turning point for Chevrolet
and has become an icon of the 1950's Chevrolets.
But, in the world of Tri-Fives, if you really want to stand tall,
nothing is better than powerful gasser look of this 1955 Chevrolet
we have here at Adventure Classics.
Our classic that stands above the rest, and a gasser it literally
does. As a true gasser, you need the right elements like a modified
engine, tube front axle, bright headers peeking out from within the
wheel well, and a big air scoop sticking out of the hood. We gotcha
covered on that!
Engine & Drivetrain
When you pop the hood you will see this gasser is all business from
the big block believed to be 468 cubic inches backed by a Turbo 400
transmission and shifted by a manual Reverse shifter before being
sent back to a Ford 9 inch rear end with a Detroit Locker.
It is fueled by twin FAST fuel injection units sitting atop a
polished Edelbrock tunnel ram intake manifold, and has custom tube
headers, Moroso valve covers, polished air scoop, power brakes, cam
& kit, modified electronics, custom radiator, Optima battery, and
much more.
Of course, you can't miss seeing the straight front axle with disc
brakes giving it the true gasser look and it rides on wide black
sidewall meats with gasser style front and rear mag wheels to keep
the rubber on the road.
Interior
The full black twin bucket seat with matching rear seat interior
looks nice as it is simple, clean, and shows that there was a good
investment in this low mileage build.
The classic Chevy dash is painted in body color blue with a black &
polished steering tilt wheel that gives this some flair. It also
has black carpet and door panels and even the trunk looks nice with
the mat inside it.
Exterior
This 1955 Chevrolet Gasser not only gives you the tall stance to
make sure it lives up to its image, but this Chevrolet has a great
body design with the super blue/white paint job on its smooth and
straight panels, trunk, and hood, with great glass all the way
around including the windshield.
It is restored and is stunning! It looks super with the paint
combo, black interior, chrome rear bumper, and headers and exhaust
coming out the fenderwells!
