Here we have a 1986 Ford Mustang LX Convertible for sale. The fox
body mustang is continuing to be one of the most sought-after
Mustangs in the collector market. This one was bought new in
Virginia where it looks to have resided its entire life until we
purchased it. It also passed safety inspections there as recently
as 2020. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief
description of the exterior, interior, and driveline of this Ford
but first we would like to tell you a little about us.

We will start off with the exterior of this Convertible. The body
on it is in great condition with all the fit of all the panels
being great. All the body lines line up beautifully, and the gaps
all look great as well. Everything is covered in the Blue Paint
that's a beautiful compliment to the body. The paint has a
beautiful finish and is accented by the Black Convertible top that
is power and working along with the black trim and body molding.
All the glass in this '86 is in great condition with the side glass
all going up and down as it should. To finish off the exterior it's
sitting on a set of Chrome 17" wheels with Nexen tires.
Next we will look at the interior of this Mustang. On the inside
it's done in the blue with black accent color scheme that flows
perfectly with the exterior. Majority of it looks to be original
and is in very nice condition. The seat covers are done in cloth
show light signs of aging but overall look to have been very well
cared for. This is a bucket seats and console car that houses the 5
Speed Shifter. We can see the dash is in good condition as well
with some small cracks. All the gauges are in great condition and
working as they should. The door panels looks to be original and
are in nice condition along with the carpet and floor mats. Inside
the trunk is all solid and has the factory surround insert.
Finally, we will get to the driveline of this Ford. Under the hood
is all in great condition from the firewall to the inner fenders.
The power comes from the 5.0L V8 engine that looks like it would
have when it was bought new. This is a factory Air Condition car
along with having Power Steering and Power Brakes. On the highway
this '86 is a blast to drive as the clutch feels great and the
transmission shifts with ease. The V8 engine performs excellent
with plenty of power. Underneath this Mustang is all in great
condition as well from the frame to the floors. This would make
anyone looking to get into a Fox Body Mustang a great cruiser!
