The 1983 Jeep CJ7 is one rugged machine. It's presented in the kind
of outdoor-ready look that gives the classic CJ an everlasting
appeal. So check out the rebuilt motor, beefy front bumper, liner
body paint, twin-stick four-wheel-drive, and all the other upgrades
that make this a fearless off-roader.
The attitude starts with the paint. Hot rod red is great when you
want to be a bit more aggressive, but this really turns it up a
notch. It's rugged Raptor liner coating, and it was applied in
2020. It's an even and professional application, but if you're
looking for smoothness, then you already don't get the point of
this one. It's a mean machine with components to back up its
intimidating style. You have upgraded headlights and an LED light
bar that will show you the trail even at midnight. Of course, what
everyone takes notice of are the dark components like the strong
front bumper, flared fenders, step rails, rear bumper with trailer
hitch, and full-size spare on the swing-away rear mount. And those
black Fuel 15-inch wheels give you a terrific stance. Plus, when
the hardtop is in place, it goes with the full dark accents to give
this Jeep a two-tone kind of style.
You get the same attractive darkness when you open this one up to
the world. It's thoughtfully done with details like rugged lined
floor, clean mats, and durable vinyl seating with high back buckets
up front. There's even a bikini top to keep the sunshine off your
shoulders if you want. And you'll love fun details, like the
diamond plate inner door panels and an ammo box center console. The
controls are laid out exactly how you want them. You get a grippy
classic Jeep wheel with power steering, the gearstick is an easy
reach, and the classic Jeep gauges are upgraded with teh addition
of Sunpro readouts and a handy tach.
Under the hood is Jeep's stout 258 cubic-inch inline-six. It has
the tidy style of a well-maintained machine. In fact, the top end
was rebuilt in 2020, and there have been investments in newer items
like the Weber carburetor and HEI ignition. The three-speed manual
transmission was rebuilt in 2020 to be rugged, and the transfer
case was upgraded to a JB Custom Fabrication twin-shift 4x4
transfer case. This feeds a Dana 30 front and AMC 20 limited-slip
rear - all rebuilt in 2021. The lifted suspension, newer bushings,
newer tie rods, power front disc brakes, and Federal Couragia M/T
tires all mean this can have some serious fun when the pavement
ends.
This CJ7 has been given a ton of investments to give it a robust
style that looks terrific on the street and the trail. So you know
you want to grab the ultimate classic 4x4. Call today!!!
