EXCEPTIONALLY AUTHENTIC 1950 CHEVROLET 3100
There are very few trucks like this one.
Perfect pedigree – Purchased in October of 1950 by a small Pennsylvania farmer, this truck was parked inside in the early sixties with less than 40,000 miles. Except for occasional family drives, the truck remained in the barn until 2003. After restoration in 2004 by a Pennsylvania GM employee who purchased the truck from the family, it won well over 100 car show trophies over the next 15 years. I purchased the truck in 2019 and one month later won Best of Show at a large East Texas show.
Incredibly low mileage – Less than 48,000 actual miles in over 70 years.
Bumper-to-bumper authentic – Except for an add-on turn signal, this truck is just like it rolled off the assembly line. The restoration included new authentic bumpers and running boards, but I have the originals of both. The 216.5 cubic inch Thriftmaster engine is all original with new seals and gaskets and runs like a top. I have pictures of the restoration process.
