Vehicle Description
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1980 Porsche 911 SC for
your consideration. The car is finished in a Tabacco Metallic
exterior paint over a tan leather interior. It is powered by its
original 3.0-liter flat six-cylinder engine which recently was just
out of the vehicle and received a full service. Highlights include;
new tires, oil-fed chain tensioners, recently refurbished
suspension (shocks, bushings, tie rods, etc.), original window
sticker, and a truly impressive service file showing consistent
care and services. It pulls strong in every gear, it shifts
excellent and the synchro's are tight, has great clutch feel,
responsive steering, and suspension, and gives excellent driver
feedback. Drive this one out of our showroom or have us assist with
shipping it to you anywhere in the United States! Don't hesitate to
give us a call with any questions or for more information.
Marking the third year of the 911SC, Porsche was taking orders
quicker than they could build this new generation 911. The SC was
now the only normally aspirated 911 Porsche available, replacing
the 911S in the US and Canada and the 2.7 in rest of the World
markets. The new buyer probably would not have noticed new details
like the brake servo (fitted for the first time across the range),
which greatly improved drivability around town and reduced pedal
effort when the brakes were cold, but the increased power and
performance delivered by the 3.0 liter engine could not go
unnoticed.
