The GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this gorgeous 1999 Mazda
Miata. 1999 was the first year of the second generation Miata. The
Miata was built after the British roadsters, such as an MG. People
loved the feel of driving an old British roadster, but they wanted
something more reliable. Mazda came out with the Miata in 89,
releasing it to the U.S. market in 1990. It is also the longest
production roadster ever, and Mazda is still producing them to this
day!
The Miata came with a 1.8L I4 from the factory pushing out a
whopping 140hp! However, this particular Miata has a turbo kit
installed from Flyin' Miata! With the Miata's perfect 50/50 weight
distribution, a 5 speed gearbox, and a turbo, you are sure to have
fun on some back roads.
This Miata shows very well inside and out. The black soft top is in
very nice condition, and functions with ease. As for other
aftermarket parts, there is a nice chrome style bar, some sporty
SSR wheels from Japan, and a pioneer head unit.
Whether you are looking for a clean slate to start a build, or a
car that you can hop in and drive from dawn until dusk, this is the
car for you.
