It left the factory finished in its current color scheme of Black over Saddle tan leather with a Saddle tan soft-top???a combination as timeless as the car itself, and a welcome change from the usual red, so popular with this American classic. The accompanying original window sticker indicates a host of desirable factory options, including a four-speed manual transmission???perfect getting the most out of the sonorous 5.7-liter V-8 engine. Other optional extras include Saddle leather sport bucket seats with six-way power adjustment, power door locks, cruise control, engine oil cooler, heavy-duty radiator with cooling boost fan, and Bose stereo system. As with all cars available through the Auto Boutique, this Corvette was thoroughly inspected and refurbished using original-equipment or equivalent parts, with much care preserving original content wherever possible. The engine was cleaned and tuned up with new spark plugs, air filter, fuel filter, upper radiator hose, battery and serpentine belt. The original distributor cap and spark plug wires remain, to preserve originality. All fluids were flushed and replaced. The suspension and brakes were gone through and the shocks, ball-joint boot covers, and brake pads were replaced to factory spec. On the exterior, the front chin spoiler was replaced, as well as the antenna with relay and windshield wipers. Four new BFGoodrich G-Force Comp 2 tires were mounted to the factory 16-inch alloy wheels, while the exhaust was upgraded to a new MagnaFlow ???catback??? system. The interior was similarly refurbished to a high standard, with new leather upholstery and seat foam using original equipment parts. Even the pumps for the lumbar support were rebuilt and the driver seat track replaced, as was the upper door trim. All parts used were AC Delco or original-equipment quality. Given the exceedingly high level of attention and effort invested in this C4 Corvette Convertible, we are confident that it is one of the very best available on the market today.
