1970 Dodge Dart Swinger For Sale - Complete Restoration By

Dodge Dart Swinger Mopar A-bodies are quite underrated in the
classic car world. The sporty Dart Swinger was a trim package
introduced by Dodge in 1969, replacing the former two-door sedan
design. At the top of the chart for buyers of this freshly named
hardtop model was the 340 4-barrel engine. In a world where big
blocks reigned, the small A-body took on the big dogs stoplight to
stoplight with what many believe is one of the best motors Chrysler
ever produced, the 340ci LA V8. With the 275-horsepower 340, Rallye
suspension, front disc brakes and a rear bumblebee stripe, it was
the sportiest version of Dodge's little car that could. Not only
did it have all of these options, but it was a rare bucket seat car
with a console and the Rally pack gauges with a 6,000 rpm
tachometer. This example is an original Dart Swinger 340 that has
been completely rotisserie restored by the team here at Legendary
Motorcar. It is finished in FC7 Plum Crazy Purple to a show quality
level. The high standard of restoration is even above and beyond
the Dodge factory standards back in the day it rolled off the
assembly line. The paint has been wet sanded and polished to
absolute show quality finish. Inside the interior, is a brand-new
white bucket deluxe interior seats, carpets, door panels and
headliner have been professionally replaced. Frame, suspension and
undercarriage have been well detailed including correct style
factory markings, paint daubs, stickers and factory batch primer
with body color overspray. The undercarriage is a work of art. Just
as nice under as on top. Under the hood is a Dodge 340 cu.in. that
has been stroked and upgraded with better performance parts.
Shifting duties are handled by a standard 4-speed transmission with
a competition Hurst shifter. Car has power steering and power
brakes and is outfitted with brand new chrome Magnum 500 wheels and
radial Goodyear tires. This Dart Swinger has had a complete nut and
bolt rotisserie restoration to an extremely high level with great
attention to detail. The work and color choices were all done by
the direction of the previous owner, whom we restored the car for.
He wanted the car to be beautiful, usable and not just a correct
concourse trailer only car. Given the quality of the restoration it
