Vehicle Description
HIGHLIGHTS: Same owner since the 1990s! Offered for sale for the
first time in the 21st century! Believed to be 64k actual miles!
Original interior! Great cruiser!
BODY OVERVIEW: The body on this 1975 Cadillac Eldorado is in
amazing condition! This car was completely repainted in 1997 with a
new convertible top at a cost of over $10,000-in 1997! As expected
after such a bill, the body is looking great with very minimal
defects.
PAINT CONDITION OVERVIEW: The quality of the paint job really
shows, as looking at this car up close it is hard to believe that
the paint is nearly 25 years old, which makes sense given the cost
of the paint job mentioned above. With age comes some defects, and
while they are few and far between, there are some minor chips and
scratches to be found. After all, this car has covered almost
40,000 miles with this paint on it!
INTERIOR CONDITION OVERVIEW: The interior appears to be the
original white leather, and it looks great! The seats are soft,
squishy, and appear to have been cared for as one would expect for
a car that has had the same owner this long. The only signs of use
are normal creasing. The dash plastic is in nice condition, as are
all of the other interior plastic items. Everything that normally
cracks or fades in the sun is in nice shape, again evidence of the
care this car has received. The seats could use a good deep
cleaning, but are otherwise in good condition. The steering wheel
has a cover on it, and the resin inlay does appear to be peeling
under that cover.
MECHANICAL OVERVIEW: The legendary Cadillac 500V8 fires up easily,
and runs just as smooth as a Cadillac should. And why shouldn't it?
It was professionally rebuilt in 2003 when the mileage on the car
was 54,248 at a cost of nearly $6,000. The transmission seems to
shift smoothly, and was rebuilt in 2007 at mileage 56,076 by Jasper
via Arnold Palmer Cadillac. That's right-this car was taken for
transmission service at the dealer in 2007!
WHAT YOU'LL LOVE ABOUT THIS CAR: How well-maintained it has been,
and the overall current condition.
WHAT YOU MIGHT HATE ABOUT THIS CAR: This car has seen some
seriously good care over the years, but due to there still being a
lot of nice original parts on it, it isn't quite a show car.
DOES IT NEED ANYTHING? Although the A/C compressor was replaced
within the last 10,000 miles, and seems to be working, the A/C is
not cold. Additionally, the shift indicator is stuck on park
(though the shifter works fine).
WHAT BUYER IS LOOKING FOR THIS CAR? Anyone looking for a great
