Here is an absolutely drop dead gorgeous 2001 Jeep Cherokee Sport
in completely original condition inside and out. This Jeep was
bought new in May 2001 at Folsom Lake Jeep near Carmichael, CA by
its original owner. The dealer maintained it through their
ownership which ended in 2013. It then went to Utah with two more
private owners who put about 35k miles on it between 2014 and 2020.
The most recent owner hated to part with this beauty but is using
the funds for his Honeymoon! He said he searched for 2 years to
find a XJ this clean and original and was obviously meticulously
maintained and protected by its original owners and always
pampered. This Cherokee was built in late April 2001 and production
ended in June so this was one of the last batch of legendary
Cherokees off the line. Jeep would never build a more capable or
durable mid-sized SUV after this.
The Jeep has just received a freshening up both cosmetically and
mechanically. The mileage is documented by the service history as
well as the overall originality of the Jeep. Don't miss your chance

The body on the Jeep is solid and well preserved. The Jeep has
lived its life in the dry western climate and has always been well
cared for. The paint on the Jeep is all original in gorgeous Bright
Stone White and shined up very nice but shows only a few blemishes
on front and rear bumper which have been professionally touched up.
The exterior just received a complete freshening and detail. The
rubber seals are all in very nice shape and the jeep seals up
perfect. All glass on the truck is original even the windshield!
The bumpers and all other trim are in excellent original condition
and have been well preserved by the dry desert air with no pitting
or rust issues. The car is riding on the original Jeep 15" ECCO
wheels with Good Year Wrangler All Weather tires including the
original jeep spare. The interior is in great shape all around and
is all original and clean as a whistle. The seats still retain the
beautiful and comfortable patterned cloth. Headliner and carpets
are also original. All dials and controls function as they should
and are illuminated at night. The dashboard is in excellent shape
with no cracks. All windows work correctly and functions as it
should. The A/C system works great and was just serviced. Even all
four original floor mats are still on board! Mechanically, this
Cherokee runs GREAT! The car starts right up and shifts quite
easily. The 4.0L engine has been fully tuned up with oil change and
runs like a top! Every mechanical system on this Jeep was gone
through and given a clean bill of health. The engine compartment
was fully detailed to show condition. Recent work includes oil pan,
rear main seal and valve cover seal, transmission and differential
services, cooling system flush and service with new belt. Included
is a shop inspection from 67k miles before it was driven from
Bountiful, UT back to Flagstaff, AZ. New tires were also installed
around that time. The car will include two sets of original keys,
original book, and various other papers. All in all, this is one of
the cleanest and most correct Cherokees that I have had the
privilege of being associated with. It has been professionally
maintained and truly loved by its previous owners. This Jeep is a
