Lone Star Muscle Cars is proud to present a very low production and
rare classic. The performance-focused Olds 442 with the W-30
package 1972-75. This car was the by-product of a lengthy
partnership between Oldsmobile and Hurst Performance. This 1975
edition checks all the boxes: 442, Hurst/Olds and the W-30 option
which provided a 455 V8. This is a low-volume car. 1975 marked the
first year that a GM car could be had with a removable T-Top style
roof the Hurst/Olds (nicknamed the Hurst Hatch). The 442-based
Hurst/Olds production for 75 was limited to 2,535 copies, split
roughly 50/50 between cars painted black vs. white. And under 1,200
of them had the W-30 package, big-block V8 to the mix. The only
transmission available in the car was a Turbo-Hydramatic which this
machine has with the Hurst Dual Gate shifter. Stop by today and
check this classic out. The most desirable variant of Cutlass
during this period is the Hurst package. This was added to a
Cutlass S with a 455-cid big block. TTurbo-Hydramatic 400 automatic
transmission, along with sway bars and better springs, but at the
cost of deleting the air conditioning. 270 hp for the 455 big
block. The 1975 model year was the last for the Hurst/Olds in this
era, and those cars received 350- or 455-cid engines These cars
also carried the first T-top roofs for Olds. Contact Lone Star
