Vehicle Description
1967 Aston MArtin DB6 5-Speed with Matching NumbersThis 1967 Aston
Martin DB6 is an extremely sought-after and collectible 5-Speed
example with matching numbers. The car was originally ordered
through J.S. Inskip and specified with a highly attractive color
scheme of Charcoal Grey over Black Connolly hides. The early
history of the car beyond that is unknown although it appeared in
the Aston Martin Owner's Club registry in 1992 with G.D. Rycroft
and was acquired later that same year by Salem, Massachusetts
enthusiast Albert "Tag" Goodhue III. Goodhue would retain the car
for nearly two decades, showing it several times at the Lime Rock
Concours. Acquired by the previous owner in 2011, it has been on
static display since purchase. The subject of a repaint in a
lighter, bluish silver and receiving a retrimmed interior at some
point in its life, along with a new radio, it is now ready for some
recommissioning and future enjoyment. This matching Numbers 5-Speed
DB6 is not to be missed. CHASSIS NO. DB6/2687/LENGINE NO. 400/2985
