information and a video. The 1969 Chevelle is a legendary muscle
car. This example takes the muscle to the next level with a
pro-street build. The exterior is painted a Corvette Flame Red with
black around the bottom, which really grabs your eye. A hood scoop
has been custom modified to fit a stock steel hood and is sure to
make people wonder what lurks underneath. If that isn't your style,
the owner also has an original uncut SS hood that is painted to
match the car. The hood scoop that is on the car is functional and
feeds a built 402 cubic inch engine that was dyno tested at 475
horsepower. That muscle is fed through a TCI 700R4 that is rated
for 650 horsepower, so it has no problem handling whatever the
engine can throw at it. The B&M shifted 4-speed automatic
transmission features a torque converter lock out and a 2,400
stall. Power is then sent out to a fresh 12-bolt rear end with
Eaton posi with 3.55 gears. Ladder bars keep the back end planted
and a driveshaft loop has been added for extra safety.
Big and little radial tires on alloy wheels not only put the power
to the ground, but also look very menacing doing it! The interior
features racing style bucket seats with harnesses and a roll cage.
Custom gauges and an AM/FM radio finish off the interior in style.
Tinted windows look great and keep you cooler on hot summer drives.
The aluminum radiator keeps the big block power plant nice and
cool! This car just made a 70+ mile drive down to our showroom on
the highway without any issues. This Chevelle was built in the
pro-street spirit, but the owner still wanted a car that could be
driven and enjoyed. It is powerful and tough looking, but still
plenty tame to take on cruises or even long-haul drives. Power
front disc brakes also add to that drivability! This car has been
owned by the same person since 1989 and has been meticulously
maintained and garage kept. This Chevelle has been featured in 2
magazines and won over 100 trophies and awards at car shows. It is
that nice!
