This 1972 Chevrolet C10 is a bit of a sleeper. After all, the
outside just looks like a nice classic with a hint of patina on the
outside, and the interior is made extra comfy with added A/C. But
when you look under the hood, you instantly spot a fresh
performance-built fuel-injected motor that makes this pickup a ton
of fun out on the streets.
This one strikes that perfect attitude where it's ready for a
little bit of work and a ton of play. The matte gray paint has
red-like undertones and even some patina coming through. So you get
a cool work truck vibe in the finish. It's even a useful long bed
with liner paint in the back so you can get your chores done. But
features like those bright 15-inch American Racing outlaw wheels
and the big dual exhaust tips signal that this one might not always
hang out in the Home Depot parking lot.
The interior keeps the workman vibe going, but the investment here
was about keeping you comfortable. You have a newer velour cover on
the bench seat, a smooth dash pad, nice door panels, and a
wood-rimmed steering wheel on a tilt column. There are also subtly
added features like the retro-style AM/FM digital tuner w/aux input
and cold-blowing air conditioning. In fact, you're only real
interior hint about the added power (before you twist the key) is
the B&M floor shifter.
The engine bay reveals the full beastly nature of this build. It's
a 350 stoker V8, and those shining center-bolt valve covers signal
a fresh build with under 100 miles in it. This includes BluePrint
aluminum heads, an aluminum intake, and headers feeding the dual
exhaust and Flowmaster mufflers. The full package is topped off
with an Edelbrock electronic fuel injection system that's
programmable to allow you to dial in the best in power and
consistency. The rebuild on the three-speed automatic transmission
is as fresh as the motor, and this feeds a 12-bold Positraction
rear end. The fresh front-end suspension components, power
steering, power brakes, and front discs make this an all-around
confident driver.
Complete with build receipts, this is the classic C10 built to be
powerful, comfortable, and truly fun. It's a great sleeper pickup
that you know you can't miss. Call today!!!
