Please visit www.Survivor-Cars.com for additional photos,
information and a video. Check out this stunning 1957 Chevy with a
great color combination and killer stance. This is a 210 that has
the Bel Air trim added for an extra touch of class. Pair that with
Arctic White Paint and Corvette wheels and you've got a head
turner! You can see hints of the Bright Red interior peeking out
through the windshield and windows, which draws you in to take a
closer look. Open the door and you will want to climb inside this
fresh Red interior broken up with the chrome accents a 57 Chevy is
known for. A tall floor mounted shifter give it a street rod look,
and there is even a matchbox version of this car in the clock. A
1960 Chevrolet Impala steering wheel is a nice custom touch that
fits the car well.
Under the hood sits a very nicely detailed and mildly built
Chevrolet small block 350 engine. It has been topped off with a
chrome Edelbrock air cleaner on a 4-barrel Edelbrock carburetor.
That carb feeds a polished Assault intake with an HEI distributor
providing a strong spark. Finned valve covers continue the cool
classic styling under the hood. An aluminum radiator is helped out
by a mechanical flex fan and an electric pusher fan, so this beauty
stays cool even on hot summer days. Full-length headers run to true
dual exhaust with mufflers that dump before the rear end for a
great street rod rumble! A chrome alternator and polished water
pump finish off the engine nicely
.
If you plan on showing this car, the underside might be the most
impressive part! Custom made pans cover the usually unsightly parts
of the car and make for a clean, smooth painted surface that has
been coated in the same Bright White paint. Custom louvers have
been punched in those panels as well for another subtle custom
feature. The underside of the car is clean and painted black so you
can be proud to show it off. Air shocks in the rear along with
traction bars allow the 12-bolt rear end to put the power to the
pavement through Michelin radial tires on Corvette alloy wheels.
1957 Chevrolets are an iconic American car and this one is sure to
provide plenty of smiles and story telling at your local car show.
It has a lot of new parts including bumpers, a lot of trim pieces,
the interior, new glass, and new seals.
