Vehicle Description
This is an absolutely beautiful, original and unrestored 1962
Galaxie 500 Club Victoria with just 47k Actual Miles!!! It was sold
new by Dick Hinterman Ford of Imlay City, Michigan on June 9th,
1962! It has remained in the state of Michigan with collector's
it's whole life until we just purchased it within the last month.
It still wears gorgeous all original paint, with the possible
exception of the hood. I have included paint meter readings on all
of the painted panels in the photos. It is in incredible condition
overall including the glass and brightwork! It is correct from
original with the exception of the FM radio converter, retrofitted
quartz clock conversion that works great, dog dish hubcaps and
larger Toyo radial tires. It is equipped with the original factory
390cu in 4V motor and the original factory 3 Speed manual
transmission with overdrive. It is beautiful Ravens black with
factory original red and white vinyl interior! It comes with the
original bill of sale, the original owners manual, a large ring
bound folder of documents, service and parts receipts over the last
few decades and an appraisal from back in 1993. It still has the
original floor mats in the trunk. It runs and drives great and the
overdrive works perfectly! In person this car is like going back in
a time machine! There are not many like this left in such well
preserved condition and with the ownership history from new. If you
are a serious Ford enthusiast or collector you need to consider
this beautiful and original Galaxie to add to your collection!!!
