Vehicle Description
This 1958 Ford Custom 300 may look like a cruiser, but it's been
fully restored to also be a bruiser. That's because it may have a
cream-colored appeal on the outside, but under the hood is a mighty
428 V8. And no matter if it's the power or style that first got
your attention, you'll love enjoying it all from the comfort of a
leather-lined A/C interior.
The '58 Ford is an ideal car to turn into a sleeper. It already had
a muscle car kind of style straight from the factory with the hood
scoop, outstretched taillights, and the wide and intimidating front
end. But none of that gives away the power within, because it's
just part of the classic style. In fact, this car is finished in a
great classic yellow and cream pastel two-tone. You can tell extra
time and care when into both the paint and the body panels to
restore it with quality. There are nice details in the shining
brightwork, like how the bumper/grille combo is the main focus of
the front end, and the rear is notched to fit the license plate.
There's even a full-length side trim to separate the two-tone. So
you might just mistake this for a nice guy restoration...until you
hear the mean exhaust rumble.
The interior reveals a bit more of this car's modern style. The
leather seating is a far plusher setup than anything the factory
gave you in '58. It is a full tasteful tan layout with nice
details, like the Ford embossing in both rows and the fully
finished trunk. Features like power windows and cold-blowing air
conditioning make this a great car to share with family and
friends. But the upgraded gauge package and sports steering wheel
on a tilt column are there to let you know it's upgraded to be a
great driver, too.
The engine bay has the kind of tidy style that loves to showcase
serious power. This has been upgraded to the mighty 428 cubic-inch
big block. And it's built correctly with a Holley four-barrel
carburetor, Edelbrock intake, finned Cobra valve covers, and
headers feeding into a dual exhaust and Thrush mufflers. There are
also good supporting components, like an MSD Blaster coil and a
MotoRad aluminum radiator. The undercarriage photos have a clean
look that really tells you how comprehensive the restoration was.
This freshness also makes it a more confident driver. That's why
you have good anytime features like power steering, a C6
three-speed automatic transmission, and a Ford 9-inch rear built
for highway gearing. There are even four-wheel disc brakes for
superior stopping power.
This '58 Ford has the look, the sound, and the upgrades you're
going to love. So you know you don't want to miss this very cool
sleeper street machine. Call today!!!
