consideration. Power is produced by a V8 engine. The engine is
mated to a manual transmission which sends power to the rear
wheels. Mechanically this truck is sound as it starts, runs, and
drives without any issues.
The truck wears an older restoration but the paint on the truck
still shines bright today. The truck is finished in Red and appears
to be all steel. Highlights include wheel skirts, new headliner,
original heater box, nice chrome, factory wheels, visor. The
flathead v8 fires right up and the manual transmission shifts
easily.
Launched in 1948, the legendary Ford F-series began as a
replacement for the previous car-based pickups. For the first time,
Ford was building pickups on a dedicated truck platform creating a
much better workhorse than previously available. Ford's 1st
F-series generation lasted from the 1948-1952 model years but
significantly changed in appearance from year to year making each
version unique and pretty rare. While trucks sold well, most were
obviously used work heavy workloads leaving few surviving examples
in excellent condition.
