Just like outside, you may find some areas for improvement, but
this Corvette really knows how to be a driver's car. You get a
three-spoke sports steering wheel on a tilt/telescopic steering
column. Beyond that is the large gauge package in front and a full
auxiliary readout panel prominently to the side. And the shifter
falls where your right hand just seems to always want to be.
Under the hood is the numbers-matching 350 cubic-inch V8. It's an
attractive-looking setup where you can also see it has been
upgraded for added power. This includes an Edelbrock four-barrel
carburetor, an Edelbrock intake, HEI distributor, and headers
feeding into a full dual exhaust. And while most Corvettes of this
era have an automatic transmission, this one gives you full control
of the V8's power with the four-speed manual transmission. Add in
the fully independent sports suspension, power steering, and
four-wheel power disc brakes, and this classic 'Vette Is capable of
some very modern moves.
