Vehicle Description
Chevrolet's most iconic car ever produced, the Bel Air was offered
for nearly 25-years in the United States. The 1956 Bel Air was the
second year of production of the vehicle's second-generation
design. With a face-lift from the 1955 model, the 1956 Bel Air had
a more desirable appearance with a full-width grill, two-tone
bodyside options, less edgy front and rear wheel openings and
headlights and taillights encased in single housings. The 1956
model year served as the stepping stone to what would become the
most dramatic styling change in 1957.
From time-to-time there is a car in our showroom that stops
everyone who passes by it. This 1956 Bel Air is such a car. The
result of a comprehensive body-off restoration, its exterior paint
combination of Harbor Blue over Nassau Blue is a unique combination
that you don't see often. With the matching interior in two-tone
blue with blue carpet and dark blue cloth power convertible top,
this Bel Air is a stunning car. Finished all the way around, the
underside of this Bel Air shows as clean as the top. Fire up the
265ci V8, shift the Powerglide automatic transmission into drive
and this Bel Air is ready to take you anywhere. With power
steering, power disc brakes, a Hotchkis sway bar and 2-inch drop
spindles, this Bel Air shows with great originality and drives with
a more modern touch.
Unless stated otherwise, mileage shown on odometer is exempt and
unknown if original.
