This very original Corvette Coupe was restored to show quality
prior to its most recent ownership. Although with non-matching
engine at the time, the original factory options included, Side
pipe exhaust system, Air conditioning, Power windows, 4 wheel disc
brakes.
Purchased by its most recent owner in 2017, the owner decided to
use this already immaculate and well restored example as a canvas
to create the Corvette "he" wanted and with "his" thought of a mild
a Corvette resto-mod. The Corvette was given to well-known and
respected restoration shop, Automotive Restorations, Stratford,
Connecticut for all updates and modifications and the final product
is on offer today. Please note, there is a photo showing the
Corvette prior to its resto-mod creation, all original parts are
available and will be supplied with this cars sale.
Quite some time was spent creating the Corvette currently on offer.
A Chevrolet 350 crate engine rated at 350hp was supplied and
installed along with a Holley 600CFM carburetor with electric
choke. A Mallory distributor, Hooker headers with side exit exhaust
system were also supplied and installed. The Corvette received a
New wiring harness, Moto Lita steering wheel, AutoMeter gauges,
upgraded USB stereo system and American Racing Wheels.
Since its creation, this Corvette has been in collector ownership
and housed within an exceptional collection of automobiles in
Greenwich, Connecticut.
This Corvette resto-mod has always been serviced and cared for
regardless of use and remains in exceptional condition thought and
ready for immediate use or show.
