prove to be the final year for the Sting Ray body style, which was
first introduced in 1963. The Corvette that year would feature a
number of detail changes to the exterior to distinguish itself from
its predecessors, such as the functional five angular slot vents on
the front fenders, a rectangular back-up light positioned right
above the license plate, optional cast aluminum "bolt-on" wheels
devoid of the knock-offs, the removal of fender flags and the
removal of hood script emblems. The interior would also be
distinguished by the relocation of the parking brake from under the
dashboard to between the front seats, as well as a revised seat
design and elimination of the passenger hand hold above the
glovebox. The Marina blue paint shimmers and sparkles, tempting you
to touch it (NO TOUCHING PLEASE :-) the body is smooth and clean,
and it sounds wonderful, and lots of power., The chrome glistens in
the sun, everything works, the doors close smoothly, the windows
move effortlessly, the wipers wipe as they should (however I doubt
the car will ever see rain). It has it all! Drive and enjoy it,
show and win with it, or just admire it. However you choose to
enjoy this amazing car one things for sure, this is an investment
that will always pay off.
