1971 GMC Sprint
This '71 Sprint comes with a strong V8 and a restoration done
right. This very clean truck was built right and is an outstanding
classic. When you get into a distinct 1971 GMC Sprint packaging you
know you have a one of a kind. Not only are these are rare sight
today, the 1971 was the first year for the Sprint name. They were
introduced as GMC's answer to the El Camino and lasted for 2
generations. In the 2nd generation they were renamed to Cabalerro.
It isn't just local history that makes this one grab attention. A
solid investment was put into this classic GMC with nice solid body
rust free body panels, bright chrome bumpers, and distinctive deep
Blue paint. It is topped with a nice clear coat to give it a good
shine. The glass is all good with a slight tint. It sits on US Mag
wheels with ZR20 tires.
Under the hood of this classic Sprint is a 350 ci Chevy small block
V8 that offers plenty of power and runs strong. It features a 850
Holly 4 barrel, 33991492 double hump heads, Crane roller rockers
and a 280/480 Comp cam. It has been dressed up very nicely with
lots of chrome and a polished serpentine belt system that includes
an all new air compressor, alternator and power steering pump. It
delivers a great sound through headers into a dual stainless
exhaust with large exhaust tips. The car has been completely
rewired to factory specs, fused and loomed to last and look the
part of a very classy, detailed restoration. The car starts up well
and the 3 speed automatic transmission shifts smoothly and
confidently. It was built to be a solid all around driver and hits
the road with ease. It has power steering and all new brakes
throughout.

Just like the El Camino, the GMC Sprint shares a lot of Chevelle
DNA inside. This gives you the seating, dash, carpeting and door
panels of a car combined with the usefulness of a truck bed. It has
all been redone in Black and is in excellent condition. It has a
new stock round gauge cluster combined with a tachometer. An
aftermarket retro-styled AM/FM digital tuner stereo has been added
to deliver all your favorite tunes. The Vintage AC/heating system
works properly with no issues.
This is a very cool classic and you don't see a lot of them done up
this nice. It will make someone a great driver and show car.
