Vehicle Description
With its sharp-looking colors, V8 power, 4x4 prowess, and full
convertible appeal, this 1972 Chevrolet K5 Blazer has been restored
for those who demand their classics have true distinction.
Cortez Silver paint is a great color we love on GM's muscle cars,
and so it looks terrific on beefy 4x4s, too. It has the good gloss
of a later application, and the kind of style that won't show as
much dirt if you have a little fun with this classic SUV. The
details are attractive, too. You have a bright white removable top,
smooth tailgate, and Rally wheels We're also told there was a more
recent investment in newer pieces, like the bright chrome bumpers,
clear windshield, and moldings. And keen eyes will recognize that
this has the cleaner front end of a 1968 Chevy C/K truck.
The restored interior has a beautifully distinct style. The silver
returns inside, but what's really grabbing your attention is the
red upholstery. It even has the classic Western-style pattern that
came on the premium Chevys of this era. And don't forget, it's easy
to share this full package with the world because this was the era
of the fully removable roof to turn this Blazer into a full
convertible. This is the kind of classic that has the size to
easily share with family and friends. You also have nice upgrades
like fresh full carpeting, thick rubber floor mats, and a
retro-style AM/FM digital tuner w/aux input. This was even a
factory A/C Blazer (you will need to add components to return the
function.) And no matter how many people are along, the focus will
always be on the driver. You have the CST-style bucket seats up
front, a center console in-between, and the Chevy sports steering
wheel is mounted on an upgraded tilt column.
Under the hood is Chevy's famous 350 cubic-inch V8. It has a clean
and classic look. Plus, everything from the newer alternator to the
Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor tells you they made the right
investment in maintenance. The lifted stance, meaty BF Goodrich
Mud-Terrain tires, and the two-speed 4x4 transfer case give you the
confidence to take this one up the trail or out on the dunes.
They've even added a newer driveshaft and body bushings for a
confident feeling behind the wheel. But more than just an
off-roader, this one will look good rolling down Main Street. So
it's also built to be an easy cruiser thanks to a TH350 three-speed
automatic transmission, power steering, and power brakes with discs
up front.
Here's a full-sized, full-convertible 4x4 that was restored to turn
heads on the street and trail. That's why we love this K5, and it's
also why we know it's a deal that will be leaving us quickly. Call
