Vehicle Description
This 1956 Ford F-100 restomod has a nice stance, smoother style,
upgraded A/C interior, and an overdrive transmission. At the heart
of it all is a tidy engine by showing off a 302 V8 upgrade. It all
makes for a great upgraded truck that has a true anytime cruiser
vibe.
These later 2nd-gen F-Series trucks are all about the curves. A
curved windshield, shapely fenders, and a rounded hood have a great
classic style. This one captures this quite well with timeless
black paint. The color is an upgrade later in life, and today it
strikes the right balance of a good gloss but nothing too fancy
that will keep you from driving this truck. And as you dig into all
the details, you'll really see this one was made to be enjoyed out
on the road. There are more classic details that we love such as
bright chrome bumpers, intricate shining grille, and real aged wood
in the bed. But beyond classic style, there's something extra. The
shaved door handles Ford emblem blue dot taillights, smooth
tailgate, and fuel tank within the walls of the bed - they all give
a hot rod feel within the build. And the sporty stance and Cragar
SS wheels absolutely let you know this is an upgraded classic.
The key fob has your remote door openers, and this is your gateway
to a custom and comfy interior. The old bench seat has been
replaced by two individual buckets with fold-down armrests. The
two-tone on the seats even matches the door panels. There are other
nice comfort upgrades like power windows, full carpeting, and
cold-blowing air conditioning. And you get a commanding driver's
position thanks to an upgraded sports steering wheel and digital
gauges with speedo and tach.
The forward-tilting hood and smooth mirror inner fender within
really know how to put the V8 power on display. You'll even notice
the addition of large train horns. There are even Ford Racing valve
covers and a matching air topper to keep this 302 cubic-inch V8
looking its best. This is the kind of motor that has been in some
of our favorite Mustangs, and so you know it loves upgrades. It
includes an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, an upgraded intake,
and BBK headers feeding the dual exhaust and Flowmaster mufflers.
And the upgrades don't end there. There are right supporting
components, including an aluminum radiator, electric fans, aluminum
coolant overflow, and an HEI distributor. The AOD four-speed
automatic transmission gives you better ratios for performance
driving, and it also gives you overdrive comfort. And the power
steering, power brakes, front discs, and big rear sway bar are all
part of a nice cruising total package.
This is the classic truck with extra power and personality. It
makes for a terrific total package that's ready to run right now.
