Nice running 1941 ford 4 door sedan Super Deluxe. Original flathead
221 engine and three speed on the tree. Car runs and drives well
for a 80 year old car. As you can see it is not a show car but a
good driver and fun to go to car gatherings. I acquired this car in
2020 it had not run for several years, Interior was missing but
body and frame was decent and worth bringing back to life. The
Engine and drive: The engine had 2 sticking valves which were
easily freed. All cylinders are about 120 PSI. I pulled one head
and noted no cylinder wear and no carbon ridge. Pulled the engine
and went through the Oil and fuel system new tank and rebuilt fuel
pump and carb. New points and rotor. Replaced lube in trans and
rear end. New exhaust and glass pack muffler. New brake cylinders
on all wheels, rebuild master cylinder. Brakes work well including
the E brake. The body: Welded in new rocker boxes using 18ga steel,
New front floor. New EMS running boards (16ga) and rubber covers.
Converted to 12v but built in a 6v supply for the gages and stuff
that needs to be 6v. Replaced broken windows. The interior was
missing so I acquired 1941 seats, I couldn't find a 4 door front
seat so the current front seat is out of a Tudor. New replacement
seat upholstery. Still need new windshield and gasket installed but
current one is useable. I do have the new windshield and gasket to
go with the car. Paint is good at about 30 feet!! Tires have lots
of tread but are old. It starts right up and goes down the road
straight. This is a great car to just drive and go to classic car
meets or cars & caffeine. Please Note The Following **Vehicle
