nothing here is ever too fancy that would keep you from letting
this street-wise coupe hit the streets.
The black accents of the exterior get you ready for the full black
interior. There's a good look to fundamentals like the carpeting,
upholstery, and dash pad. So it makes it easy to settle in and feel
how this is a driver's machine. You have bucket front seats, an
upgraded wood-rimmed steering wheel, and your right hand just loves
to rest on the stick shift. They nicely integrated a tach in the
middle of the gauge pack and there are cleanly installed auxiliary
readouts under the dash. There's even a push-button start.
The 289 cubic-inch V8 looks great under the hood with the vibrantly
fresh blue on the block and the polished Ford Racing valve covers.
You may even spot some nice investments in the fundamentals, like
new fuel lines and Accel plug wires. The V8 inhales deeply with an
Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, and it exhales with added power
and authority as headers feed the dual exhaust. Best of all, the
four-speed manual transmission has a confident feeling that puts
