The Metropolitan has always been a highly recognizable, and really a favorite among classic car enthusiasts, and “normal” folks alike. When the name of a car stretches longer that the actual car, that is certainly a trait that brings a smile to everyones face.
Don’t believe me? Just try and drive this little Metro’ anywhere, any distance and see if you don’t make everyone you pass, and yourself, smile! That’s pretty much why we drive these classic cars…Isn’t it?
This particular coupe is in remarkable condition. thoughtfully restored to its original appearance inside and out, this little hardtop starts, runs, and drives very nicely, and is an absolute kick to drive.
The accessories such as the heater, windshield wipers, turn signals, all  function as they should. Behind the  “Utility” seat is the trunk compartment accessible through the interior, so you can carry most anything you would put in the average sized trunk.
This Metropolitan still carries its spare tire and wheel in the “Continental Kit” style mounted on the rear exterior, and is in remarkable condition as well.
If you have ever considered owning one of these unique little cars, and want a nice one that you can just hop-in and enjoy immediately, this little turquoise and white example should fit the bill perfectly. Very nice little car.
