The 1969 Pontiac Firebird has that terrific front end that looks
absolutely aggressive, and it only gets better on a super-sleek
restomod. Plus, with the upgraded A/C interior, sports suspension,
five-speed transmission, four-wheel disc brakes, and shining
performance V8, this is a total package of both style and
muscle.
This car is going to get a nickname like Quicksilver or the Silver
Bullet. That's because you're looking at a sleek and awesome build
with under 1,200 miles on it since completion. So you not only have
fresh paint, but also a super-straight body showing it all off.
This has all the best classic Firebird elements, including the dual
hood scoops and a beak-like chrome front end that lets this
Firebird look like it's spreading its wings. And while the metallic
paint and chrome bumpers give this a radiant shine, there's also
the right hint of a dark side. The clean/mean grille and 18-inch
wheels (with extra wide rear ones) really let you know that this
stunner is also a runner.
The black interior looks great against the silver exterior, and the
condition is just as fresh. Good upholstery, clean door panels,
plush carpeting, and a smooth dash are all part of this inviting
package. Plus, there's cold-blowing air conditioning and a
retro-style AM/FM digital tuner to subtly add modern comfort. But
this build is really all about performance. You know that when you
spot the roll bar that adds strength to the chassis and looks
terrific in its exterior-matching silver. Front bucket seats, a
Flaming River sports steering wheel on a tilt column, full gauges
with speed and tach, and an upgraded shifter are all there for you
to enjoy this restomod to the fullest.
The engine bay looks terrific with all the polished components
radiating from within the slick dark inner walls. At the center is
a Pontiac 400 cubic-inch V8 that we're told is now a 467ci stroker
motor. It has been enhanced and fortified with polished & ported
heads, a Lunati Voodoo camshaft, Edelbrock Performer RPM heads, an
Edelbrock Torker II intake, fabricated Pontiac valve covers, and a
Holley four-barrel carburetor. It's supported by the right
components, including an aluminum radiator w/electric fans, a
serpentine belt system, an electric water pump, steel braided
lines, and an MSD ignition system. And this mighty motor exhales
from a set of Doug's long tube headers to add even more power while
contributing to the thunder of the X-pipe dual exhaust. Power is
nothing without control, and that's why you have an upgraded
five-speed manual transmission feeding a stout Ford 9-inch rear.
And as you look underneath, you'll notice tubular front A-arms, a
control arm rear, subframe connectors, and adjustable coilovers
all-around. There are even four-wheel power disc brakes with
drilled & slotted rotors. And add in power steering and modern
sport tires for great all-around driving.
This is the sleek build that's done with both power and comfort in
mind. It makes for a terrific restomod that you just know belongs
in your garage. Call today!!!
