This 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle SS tribute has a fuel-injected big
block under the hood, an upgraded suspension, overdrive
transmission, and it's all wrapped in a slippery shade of red with
plenty of new detail investments. So this is a dream muscle car for
many of us, and for one, it gets to be a reality.
The Cranberry Red it's an upgrade done in 2019, and that means it
continues to have a good gloss and shine today. The bold color
makes for the right style on one of the most aggressive muscle cars
out there. It has a wide front end with an intimidating overhang,
and the rear has a terrific fastback-like profile. Plus, this has
later-style racing stripes in bold black. They do a great job of
highlighting the dual power domes of the upgraded SS hood, and they
are painted on for a quality appearance. The blackout grille,
blackout rear panel, full SS badging, and wide exhaust tips
continue the Super Sport upgraded attitude. More than just a solid
muscle car, you can also see solid fundamentals. The chrome
bumpers, 15-inch mag-style wheels, window seals, and more show
plenty of recent investments.
The black interior looks terrific against the red. Everything has a
deep/dark color. You'll even spot newer pieces, like the brand new
dash pad, back seat, and trunk kit. It's a nice place to share with
family and friends, and there's even an AM/FM/CD stereo w/USB to
keep them entertained. This was even a factory A/C car, but during
the restoration, the components were removed to keep this one
focused on power. In fact, you can tell this is a true driver's
machine with features like front bucket seats, a center console
in-between, and a upgraded gauge package - including a
pillar-mounted SunPro tach.
The motor looks great with all the shining components and bold
block radiating from within the dark engine bay. While the exterior
badging is a 396, that's a bit of a fib, because you really have a
larger 454 cubic-inch big block under the hood. This is a serious
powerhouse and the previous owner claims it was built by NHRA racer
Glen Treadwell. It includes additions like electronic fuel
injection, an upgraded intake and powder-coated Hooker headers
feeding into a dual exhaust and Flowmasters. The car may need to be
fully dialed in for the fuel injection upgrades (the FiTech system
has a readout in the glovebox.) But you happily take extra time on
a motor like this, because it's a powerhouse that is said to make
over 600 horsepower! There's even an upgraded aluminum radiator
with dual electric fans to help keep the full package running cool.
The 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission also gives you
overdrive, and it feeds a 12-bolt Positraction rear end. Power
steering, power brakes, and front discs are nice anytime driving
features. There's even an upgraded suspension with a thick Hotchkis
front sway bar and an upgraded Hotchkis rear. So it's one
sharp-handling coupe!
This is an icon with awesome upgrades - that's what makes this SS
tribute irresistible. Call today!!!
