Vehicle Description
The two-tone exterior, loaded comfortable interior, an upgraded
suspension, and strong V8 power are all about making this 1947 Ford
Custom Coupe an all-around true cruiser.
This car needs a nickname like Smooth Operator. The full package
just seems to enjoy looking sleek. The badging and trim are deleted
on the body so that you get a good look at that two-tone. After
all, the best customs are usually red or black, but this one gives
you both in a high-gloss presentation. The rear continues the
smoother attitude with the frenched license plate, frenched
antenna, and custom inset tail lights. This one puts a bright face
forward with the mirror-like grille slats and upgraded LED halo
headlights. And the only thing brighter than the lights might just
be the shine from the upgraded Boss 18-inch polished alloys. We
particularly love the silver and red pinstriping because it not
only provides a clear dividing line for much of the two-tone, but
it also highlights the good fit of the body panels. So it
represents the stylish and quality feel of the whole car. There are
about 20k miles on this build, and it's a car made for driving. So
as you look over all the details, you'll see a car that has the
right finish to give you carefree cruising all weekend...and turn
plenty of heads while doing it.
Tan looks great against both black and red, and so the interior has
quite a tasteful style. Nice upholstery, plush carpeting, custom
door panels, and full finished trunk are all part of the uniform
tan style. This also has the right comfort upgrades like an
AM/FM/CD stereo, power windows, tinted windows, cup holders, and
cold air conditioning. The front seats are all about a modern
experience with comfy bolstering, wide headrests, a center console,
and shoulder seatbelts. Your seat even power adjusts to the ideal
position. In fact, this feels very driver-oriented with the
upgraded banjo-style sports steering wheel on a tilt column, and
the dash has been upgraded with a full set of vintage-style VDO
gauges.
The engine bay has a clean look and plenty of polish. But it's the
substance behind the shine that makes this so nice. You have a 350
cubic-inch V8 that inhales deeper with an Edelbrock four-barrel
carburetor. It exhales with added power and rumble as shorty
headers feed the dual exhaust. As you look underneath, you'll spot
an upgraded Mustang II-style independent front end and newer
bushings. Plus, a three-speed automatic transmission, power
steering, power brakes, and front discs are all part of this solid
cruising package.
This one is the right mix of a stunner and a driver. So if you love
to fully enjoy your classics, don't miss this custom Ford. Call
