Vehicle Description
You love it when someone invests the right money to build a
driver's classic car just like you would, and this 1965 Chevrolet
Chevy II Nova SS is a prime example. A slick red outside and a
performance-oriented interior make for a very nice classic. Plus,
underneath the surface beats a strong stroker motor, an upgraded
suspension, and four-wheel disc brakes that are ready to hit the
streets.
This hardtop classic makes the right first impression. Novas were
available in red, but they never looked this bright. This one has a
terrific shine that tells you there was an investment in a modern
professional paint application. It helps to highlight the crisp
sheet metal lines, and the same goes for the detailed white
pinstripes. So you really recognize the upscale look and made these
compact/lightweight Novas able to stand next to the big boys. But
this is a real-deal Super Sport, and so you'll also appreciate the
complete and original quality of the brightwork and trim. Those
Cragar SS wheels are the exact right addition to show some extra
flair and signal that there's something special under the hood
(more on that in a moment.)
The red interior has such a distinct style against the red exterior
that we just know you'll leave the windows down on this pillarless
hardtop just so people can get a better look inside. It's quite
clean and complete. You'll even appreciate the little details, like
the insignia trim on the seatbacks, the working dome light, and the
Delco AM radio that's still there for display. But this one is also
set up to be a true driver's classic. That's why you have front
bucket seats, a center console in-between, a custom sports steering
wheel mounted on a polished tilt column, a B&M shifter, and
upgraded readouts - including an AutoMeter tach w/shift light.
The engine bay is built for both show and go. It's attractive with
smooth inner walls, tidy components, and plenty of polish on the
air grabber and valve covers. This is a 350 cubic-inch V8 crate
motor that we're told has been expanded to a 383ci stroker motor.
It has been enhanced further with a Holley four-barrel carburetor,
an Edelbrock intake, and shorty headers feeding the dual exhaust
and Magnaflow mufflers. It's also supported by the right components
like steel braided lines, a serpentine belt system, and an aluminum
radiator w/electric fans. More than just pure power, this one was
built to handle out on the streets, too. That's why you have
upgrades like the tubular A-arm front suspension and four-wheel
power disc brakes. Plus, the three-speed automatic transmission,
power steering, and modern Falken Ziex tires make for a great
all-around driver.
This is a real-deal Super Sport Nova modified to be a terrific
street machine. So don't miss out on this total package. Call
