Cincy Classic Cars is proud to offer this 1978 Mustang Cobra II which is in terrific driver condition. This Mustang Cobra II features a nice paint job in White with Green Billboard Cobra II decals, a nicely restored black interior, and a good running 302 engine with automatic transmission. This Cobra is very solid with no visible rust any where and no bubbling or cracked paint. This Cobra has great lines and gaps and shows well in its rarely seen color combination of white with green decals over black interior. This is the factory color scheme as seen on the door sticker and buck tag.
Exterior:
The White paint is in great overall condition and the decals were replaced and the exterior still shows nicely. Car was painted years ago but still looks fresh and is a very attractive color combination. There is no visible rust and no known patches and no bubbling paint. The bumpers are in good shape but do have some cracking in the paint. Wheels are 13" slotted mags and tires are Goodyear raised white letters with good tread left but are older. The rear hatch works as it should and all weather stripping and window sweeps are in great condition. Inner window sweeps were recently changed.
Interior:
The black vinyl interior of this Cobra is great condition. The stock seat covers are in great shape and show no excessive wear, rips or stains. The door panels are stock and in great shape and both door pulls are solid and in tact. The carpet was replaced and shows no holes, rips, or stains. The headliner is in good shape and not sagging with no rips or stains. The Pioneer stereo is a modern CD/MP3/USB unit with a speaker box in the hatch and sounds good. This car has not been smoked in, there is no smoke aroma what so ever.
Mechanical:
This Mustang Cobra II is in great overall mechanical condition. The 302 engine runs great and shows well and the automatic transmission shifts properly. This Cobra II runs and drives nicely and has plenty of power. The transmission was recently serviced with a new gasket and filter with new fluid. The true dual exhaust with h pipe was added and gives this Cobra a nice exhaust tone at idle and cruising speeds. New rear air shocks were added. The engine bay area is nicely detailed as seen in the photos and shows mostly stock in appearance. Underside is very solid with no patches noticed and no rust concerns are visible. Brakes stop well and do no pull. Very clean Cobra which looks and runs great and shows in a unique beautiful color combination.
