HMMWV or High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle has been an
icon of the US military for the last 35 years. Produced by AM
General who submitted it's first prototype design to the US
Military in 1979 and saw it's first saw combat in Operation Just
Cause, the US Invasion of Panama in 1989. Shown here is a M998
Helmet Top is in excellent condition, fully refurbished by the US
Government in 2000, and extremely low miles. Never deployed and
used for marketing and recruiting by the National Guard. Recent
maintenance includes a rebuilt injection pump by Oregon Fuel
Injection and batteries. The HMMWV is a blast to drive and own.
Strong running General Motors naturally aspirated diesel mated to
an automatic. This HMMWV comes with South Carolina title restricted
to offroad use only.
