This 2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS Hendrick Motorsports Edition tells
its performance pedigree in its long name. It's number 1 of only 35
examples ever made of an awesome supercharged machine delivering
550+ hp. And Dale Jr. signing the headrest should be another
indication that this low-batch specialty speed machine is the
ultimate collectible.
This one has a terrific sense of style to go with its breathtaking
speed. The Summit White has an absolutely awesome shine where you
can tell this low-mileage car has been treated with the right
respect from day one. The front end is positively mean where the
custom slitter and bumper package looks like it just slices through
anything that gets in its way. And the classic Chevy Hugger Orange
is used tastefully to show off the bow tie badges and cowl hood. In
fact, what's most striking about this custom is how it uses the
white paint as a way to present a premium vehicle. The wraparound
rear spoiler and 20-inch forged alloy wheels add to the
sophistication as much as they do to the speedy nature.
When you open the door, this loaded Camaro perfectly blends style
and speed. The leather seats look terrific because this Camaro has
averaged under 475 miles annually. So you not only cleanly see the
red inserts, but also the intricate red contrast stitching. But
more than just a coddler, these buckets have the kind of modern
bolstering to keep you planted when the roads get twisty (the Hurst
short-throw shifter reminds you that's what this special edition
was made to do.) This is also loaded with modern conveniences such
as air conditioning, power windows, power locks, power seats,
keyless entry/alarm, cruise control, tilt wheel, power steering,
dual airbags, side airbags, a power sunroof, and a premium
AM/FM/CD/XM factory stereo. There is a dash plaque showing this is
001, and it's signed by Rick Hendrick. Car #1 usually goes to
someone special, and so we're told this was delivered brand new to
Dale Earnhardt Jr. We even have the North Carolina title with
Kelley Earnhardt's name (his sister and business partner.) They
also both signed the headrests! There are substitute headrests,
too, so you can drive this without smudging Jr.
Names like Hendrick and Earnhardt are not associated with timid
machines. So they took the already mighty 6.2-liter LS3 V8 and
upgraded it with a supercharger. This enhanced Camaro is said to
produce 555 horsepower. And the X-pipe dual exhaust with Kooks
mufflers really knows how to announce the power superiority. And as
you look underneath you can see a super-clean package, right down
to the factory tags. And this also makes it easy to spot the
upgraded coilover suspension setup. Best of all, you have full
control over the supercharged beast and its ferocious growl thanks
to the six-speed manual transmission. Because you want the best
performance over any pavement, this Camaro has a limited-slip rear
end, Brembo four-wheel power disc brakes, and Pirelli P Zero
performance tires.
The sale comes complete with the original Earnhardt title, owner's
manual packet, and a second set of keys. This is the power Camaro
that was #1 with racing royalty. So don't miss this low-mileage
collectible. Call today!!!
